Severin Hummer from Lobster Sailing and I went ahead and hung the frames. Once the jig is built according to the CNC jig plan and it is all level and square it is a matter of hanging the frames up with a laser.

One thing: I could not find the waterline on the CNC plans but Severin was quick to point out that they are clearly pointed out in the original 5.80 plans from Janusz.

We started with the stern and then hung it on the jig lining it up with the laser. This process is then repeated frame by frame. It is important to keep in mind that keeping the laser on the bow side you won’t be able to check again as the frames block the laser.

Now they are upkeep being amazed! The shape of the boat is slowly emerging…
